OUR HISTORY IS OUR GUARANTEE
Character, passion and determination are the basis of every great sporting result. This is how this story began, with courage and enthusiasm when in 1947, after years of experience in the leather goods sector, Cav. Orlando Leone founded LEONE 1947. The love of boxing led the founder to produce specific articles for this sport and the company quickly became a market leader.

All the Italian boxers of the time wore LEONE1947 gloves. Since then, the LEONE 1947 brand has always been present in the ring, both in Italy and around the world, while offering its experience in the production of technical protections for new disciplines emerging from abroad: kickboxing, muay thai , the savate and the MMA. Leonard Bundu was the European EBU boxing champion from 2009 to 2014, when he challenged Keith Thurman to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the WBA world welterweight title.
The first athlete to win two consecutive K-1 MAX world tournaments, and the first athlete of the Italian kickboxing school to win tournaments in K-1 and Glory, Giorgio Petrosyan has worn Leone's gloves since the year of his first world title (2009 ) until the final consecration.
Landing in 2005 as the first Italian in the UFC, the most prestigious American MMA federation in the world, Alessio Sakara is now Bellator ambassador and promoter of numerous initiatives aimed at spreading and raising awareness of combat sports.
